Description

This 7.5" x 4.5" black and white photograph shows Miss Pearl L. Rees' lily pond which was made in 1932 by the girls of the dormitory. The stones were collected from around the world by the young women living in North Hall. There is a birdbath standing next to the pond, bushes and trees in the background are in bloom. This photograph was published in the 1936 yearbook. Pearl Rees was Dean of Women for three separate terms (1920-1937. 1941-1948. and 1951-1952) totaling 25 years.
