Several cadets saunter between U.S. Army Medical Service tents in this 8" x 10" black and white photograph presumed to have been taken during Operation Giganteus in Soquel, California.
Written on envelope in which the photographs were found: "I can't recall the instance when these pictures were take [sic]. It is likely it was at the Central California camp ground. Apparently a medical unit of ths Army came in to give reality & special training at an MCC bivouac. E.N.D." This may be the same MCC camp described by Harry Garlick in "Operation Giganteus," Youth's Instructor v.107 n.29 (July 21, 1959).
